Changes afoot at DFT Digest
From the beginning, and above all, my goal for DFT Digest has been for it to be useful and educational. I want for it to evolve into a place for the healthy exchange of professional level ideas, methodologies and techniques, with a newsflash or a book review sprinkled in here and there - of course all about design-for-test. There really is nowhere else on the web with this particular focus.
The Digest has grown bit by bit, and I’ve tried to keep it regularly updated, but I’ll admit, I haven’t done a spectacular job - just decent. As far as promoting discussion, well, a blog, by nature is more of a one way street with most of the traffic coming from the author. So the goal of more discussion is limited somewhat by the format.
However, I believe that the next step in evolving toward that goal has taken place. As of today, I will be partnering with Siyad Ma, who has been maintaining design-for-test.com and dftforum.com. We will be pooling our efforts to bring together DFT Digest and the DFT Forums into a cohesive unit.
The changes will be somewhat gradual, but design-for-test.com will be re-directed to DFT Digest, and Siyad and I will both be contributing content here. Back-and-forth discussion will be directed to the forum, where we both will be contributing, answering questions, etc. In addition, for the next couple of months I will be going through the site to make DFT infomation easier to find
I’m really looking forward to this collaboration, and believe it will make DFT Digest/Forums a more useful place for all us DFTers!
